Combined Utilities conducted an audit into the property drainage water infrastructure at one of our High School sites, the process was very simple, and all staff involved were very helpful and professional. We received a total recovery of c£130,000 and they also secured an ongoing cancellation of the property drainage charges for this site saving the council c£30,000 each year.
Instructing combined utilities to challenge the water wholesaler/retailer on our behalf, gave us peace of mind that the council had no financial risk, no extra workload and could only stand in a position to benefit as they work on a contingency basis. After providing us with an amazing service and such a great outcome for this one site we are now working with them to identify any further savings through all other East Renfrewshire Council properties.
